The little black cat, who was just born, was taken to a shelter in Philadelphia. They were seriously malnourished and needed to be taken care of halfway through. Volunteer Shana immediately jumped out and volunteered to help. Although she tried her best to take care of them, one of the little black cats, Loki, unfortunately became a little angel, and the other sister, Shumbra, continued to fight. When Shana took over the two little black cats, they were in a bad condition. 24 hours later, one of the kittens, Loki, died unfortunately, leaving only the other kitty, Humbra.
The kitten was five weeks old, but weighed only two weeks old. She had poor appetite and refused to take the initiative to eat, so Shana had to feed her slowly with a syringe.
Although Humbura recovered her appetite a few days later, new problems arose. Because he lost his mother and then lost his companion, he felt extremely insecure, so he would keep licking the food and just lick it if he didn't eat it to get some comfort. Because of this, he often made himself covered in meat paste, and Shana had to help him clean it up often.
Not long after, Shana discovered that Humbura's face was too wet due to frequent paste and she began to shed hair. In order to prevent hair loss from becoming severe, she decided to temporarily replace Hubula's food with dry food.
After the face remained dry, the hair gradually grew back; but Shana found that the new hair that grew back seemed strange?
The face turned gray!
It was obviously a completely black face, but now it is faded.
Fortunately, in addition to the change in the hair color, Humbura has made progress in all aspects. Not only has he continued to gain weight, he has also become much cheerful. Now he has also found other halfway kittens to be friends, fully showing the liveliness that he should have at this age!
Now Humbura is two months old, healthy and active. What makes Shana happiest is that she has quit licking food.
Next, Hubra will open for adoption. Shana hopes to find a good family for this special and cute kitten to love it for the rest of her life!
