Cunha: I don’t think Amorin still has pressure at Manchester United. I can play the role of No. 9

Manchester United's new forward Cunha was interviewed by HaytersTV. He talked about his experience of partnering with Mbemo and his favorite position.

What is the current situation of Manchester United?

You know, I've always said it's a huge privilege to be there, to be part of one of the biggest clubs in the world, and now to be part of the national team.

Do you think Amorim is still under pressure now?

No, I think to be honest, playing for Manchester United is always refreshing. The manager must now feel that it's an honor too and we always seem to find a way to deal with every situation. The head coach also received the "Coach of the Month" award, while a player received the "Player of the Month award".

What is it like playing with Mbemo?

Great, what a player. To be honest, you asked me some questions about Manchester United and I'm thinking about Brazil, but it's great to play at Manchester United.

It’s really great to play with a big-name player like Mbemo, and it’s the same with coach Amorim. Anyway, I always think it’s an honor.

Which position do you like to play the most? Why?

What I like most is helping the team on the court. Of course, like here in Brazil, my tasks are a little different. I will drop back a little to help the team organize the offense, and I will also participate in the offense like a forward. I feel that I can play a true No. 9 position, which is an orthodox center, and I can also participate in the organization. So I think it’s best to be able to express myself better no matter what.
