Ipswich Club officially announced that Ajax player Akpon is loaned for one season.
Akpon, 29, plays as a striker. He was loaned to Lille by Ajax last season. He has rich experience in the Championship and has played for teams such as Middlesbrough, Brighton, Hull City and Nottingham Forest.
Akpon is Ipswich's 6th signing this summer. After joining, the player said: "I'm very happy to join a club with great ambitions. I usually watch many football games and always think that Ipswich's playing style is very suitable for me, so this transfer is the most suitable for me."
