Manchester United legend Rooney recently talked about a photo he was captured in 2003 on his podcast program and explained why he bought the super big lollipop.
In 2003, Rooney was also playing for Everton. He and his wife Colleen were photographed licking a giant lollipop while on vacation in Portugal. Until now, this photo is often circulated on the Internet.
On the podcast, another host gave Rooney a replica of the lollipop, and Rooney also recalled why she was photographed like this: "Do you know why I bought this at that time? I saw it in the store, and the only reason I bought it was to smash it."
