The Sun reported that Mikel Antonio played for West Ham U21 and participated in the team's 1-3 defeat to Manchester City U21.

This was a dark night for the Hammers, with Porter's first team defeated by Chelsea 1-5 at home. Even with Antonio's help, the Youth League still failed to reverse the decline in the Premier League U21 League against Manchester City.

35-year-old Antonio started in this game, and this is the second time the veteran striker has played for the echelon since he was terminated by West Ham. The club allowed Antonio to continue using the training base to support his injury recovery, and a serious car accident last December resulted in a fractured leg and needed to release walk.

Antonio has received off-court job opportunities and TNT Sports has confirmed that he will serve as a commentator for the 2025-26 season. He claimed to have negotiated with several clubs but has not yet made a decision.
