The cat survived! Pet rescue story staged in Chenghua closed community

The community has been sealed off. What should I do if my pet needs medical treatment? A few days ago, Liu Xin, a post-90s generation living in Phase 3 of Xingyuan Huasheng, Hengqiao Community, Shuangshui Nian Street, Chenghua District, encountered this problem. In accordance with the epidemic prevention and control requirements, Xingyuan Huasheng Phase III has been included in the epidemic control, and residents must be quarantined at home.

Liu Xin is from Renshou, Meishan, and has rented in Xingyuan Huasheng Phase 3 for three years. She has a pet cat named "Tuantuan", which has been with her for four years and has become her "close friend". "Tuantuan" suffers from anuria, and because he had just undergone sterilization a few days ago, the symptoms of anuria are becoming more and more obvious. "The cat was lying motionless in the nest, with a bulging bladder and no energy at all." Liu Xin said that the community was under lockdown and residents were not allowed to go out, so she quickly called the pet doctor for help. "I followed the method taught by the pet doctor and tried to press the cat's bladder to help it urinate, but the effect was still ineffective. Seeing Tuantuan's energy getting worse and worse, I was really anxious at the time!"

Liu Xin said that in the eyes of others, "Tuantuan" may be just a pet cat, but to her, "Tuantuan" is like a family member. In desperation, Liu Xin called Hengqiao Community in the early morning of November 12. After the on-duty staff learned about the situation, they coordinated with a pet doctor through community volunteers, who entered the closed community while taking precautions to provide on-site treatment to "Tuantuan".

“The pet doctor inserted a catheter into Tuantuan and successfully urinated, saving the cat’s life.” Liu Xin said that Tuantuan’s condition is getting better and better, and her own anxiety has also been relieved. "During the days of isolation, I am really grateful to the volunteers. They transported daily supplies to residents and visited door-to-door registrations every day. They did a very detailed and practical job, which made everyone feel at ease when they were isolated at home. I firmly believe that if we work together to fight the epidemic, we will be able to overcome this difficulty!"
