I believe everyone has some experience in deworming cats, but most of them are adult cats for deworming. Everyone doesn’t know much about deworming kittens. Below, the editor will tell you what to pay attention to when deworming kittens.

Newly arrived kittens need to have a physical examination and also do external deworming for cats. External deworming is mainly targeted at fleas, lice, ticks, mites and other insects.

Not deworming may cause cats to scratch or chew on their bodies, have eczema on the skin, lose appetite, hair loss during the non-hair season, etc. In severe cases, it may cause skin ulcers, pain, anemia, tick paralysis, and blood parasite transmission.

You can go to a pet hospital for deworming, but it is more expensive, so it is recommended to buy some external deworming medicine online and deworm your own kittens. There are also some things to pay attention to during the deworming process:

1. Before deworming the cat, it is best to clean the kitten. After drying the cat's hair, drop the deworming medicine on the back of the cat's neck so that the cat will not lick it.

2. Because deworming drugs can penetrate into the body through the cat's fur, it is best to give the cat a period of fasting before and after deworming.

3. Antiworming drugs are toxic, so the dosage must be controlled well. Nowadays, the antiworming drugs are generally 0.5ml/pill, and one pill is enough at a time. Of course, the installation instructions can also be used to adjust the dosage.

4. After the pet, observe the cat's reaction in time. If the cat still scratches the body frequently, it may be that the deworming is incomplete. If the cat has adverse reactions such as vomiting and mental depression, it should be taken to the pet hospital for treatment in time.

5. Cats are dewormed externally once a month, and internally once every 3 months.
