Many people always give cats a lot of food, so many cats always have bulging belly, but some cats don’t eat too much, and there are other reasons. Let me briefly tell you.
1. Stress reaction
If a kitten who has just arrived at his new home, because he is not adapted to the new environment and is in such a state of tension and fear for a long time, he is likely to have a stress reaction, thereby making a gurgling intestinal roar. At this time, you need to comfort the kitten so that it will not be so nervous. At the same time, try to avoid loud noises or other sounds to avoid secondary stress in cats.
2. If the owner does not feed the kitten on time, when the kitten is hungry, its stomach will keep roaring. At this time, you need to prepare food for the kitten in time, otherwise young cats may suffer from hypoglycemia shock due to hunger, or even directly die of shock. Kittens of 4-5 months are generally fed 4 to 5 times a day, while kittens of 6-7 months are generally fed 3 times a day. From 7 months later, they can be fed twice a day.
3. Indigestion
If the kitten keeps groaning after eating and the sound is very loud, it may be indigestion. For example, kittens’s stomach is not good, suddenly changing new cat food, and eating too much will cause cats to suffer from indigestion and intestinal roar. At this time, it is recommended to fast for about half a day. During this period, you can drink more water and feed some probiotics to help the cat improve indigestion problems. For kittens with bad stomachs, it is recommended to feed them with easy-to-digestible foods as much as possible and not feed them randomly.
