According to Sky Sports reports, Ipswich coach Kieran McKenna has become one of the candidates to succeed Rogers as Celtic coach.

McKenna once led Ipswich to consecutive promotions to the Premier League, but failed to avoid relegation last season. The team is currently ranked 12th in the English Championship. He has also been linked with roles at Manchester United and Brighton in recent seasons.

Interim coach Martin O'Neill revealed his views on the direction of the club's coaching selection. He believes that the Celtics will be looking for a young coach with proven ability and certain past results.
