According to the "Sun" report, Bournemouth winger Kluivert Jr. has been banned from driving for six months.
The driving ban was because he was caught speeding twice within three months. The first time was on January 13, when he drove his Audi to 71mph in a 40mph zone in Bournemouth. The court heard he was rushing home from the hairdresser when he received a panicked call from his pregnant wife. The second time, on April 10, he drove his Bentley at 39mph in a 30mph zone in Dorset.
Kluivert Jr. is the son of the legendary Dutch star Kluivert. Before this penalty, 9 points had been deducted from his European driving license. His lawyer told the court that Kluivert accepted the ban and would not apply for a financial hardship exemption due to his huge income of about £80,000 a week.
In the end, he was banned from driving for six months and had to pay a fine of 1,332 pounds and legal costs of 793 pounds.
