Tensor G5 is not only expected to be Google's first product produced using a modified 3-nanometer process, but also the first system single wafer (SoC) produced by TECHNOLOG.
Reddit netizen's Antutu running score results showed that the Pixel 10 Pro XL with Tensor G5 scored 1,140,286 points, while the Pixel 9 Pro XL with Tensor G4 scored only 983,628 points. In other words, the Tensor G5's running results were 15.93% faster than the previous generation. Although it's not significant, the difference in the multi-core part is most obvious, with the Tensor G5 scoring 200,770 points, while the Tensor G4 scored less than half of the run, only 98,464 points.

This huge gap may be due to the architecture differences between Samsung's old 4-nanometer process and Telco's second-generation 3-nanometer process, and the Tensor G5's updated core adoption. Compared to the Tensor G4, the Tensor G5 has improved 36% in the multi-core part of the performance test Geekbench 6.
Even though the Tensor G5 has improved compared to last year's products, it still cannot compete with competitors.
