One day, Mrs. Chen received a call from the counter lady who called herself "*** Hospital" at her residence to ask her if she had commissioned someone else to apply for hospitalization in the hospital. Mrs. Chen said she had never been to the hospital. The other party replied: "Now there is a Mr. Wang at the counter to ask you to apply for payment. Do you want to confirm whether you have provided a commission?"
Just as Mrs. Chen felt confused, the other party said: "There are many cases of quarantine now. Is it because your certificate has been missed and taken away. Go and use it?" Mrs. Chen thought to herself, it wouldn't be true. Before she could reply, she heard the shout of the lady from the desk at the phone: "Police! Put down Mr. Wang in white!" Then she heard the noise that was being reported in the hospital. Not long after, the phone's voice became male. The other party called himself Policeman Cai and Mrs. Chen said that the case will be handed over to Director Huang Ke, the Taipei City Criminal Police Team, and asked her to wait on the phone.
When Mrs. Chen thought that the police would be fine for helping her, she claimed that she was Huang Kecheng The person answered the phone and said, "Mrs. Chen? We sent tickets to your house twice. Why didn't you report it to the court? Some evidence pointed out that you were involved in a 500 million yuan financial laundering case, and many people pointed out that it was under your command. Today is the last day of the case investigation, and we have issued a notice. If you leave, you will be detained whenever you encounter a policeman. Before 4 pm this afternoon, you are ready to change laundry and report it to the district court. If necessary, you must go to the detention center."
The bolt from the blue, why is this like this? After hearing this, Mrs. Chen was soft and heard other voices from the phone. She yelled at Officer Huang with great enthusiasm, "Why didn't you close her yet?" Officer Huang kept pleading and said to the other party, "She felt that she was just a woman, not the kind of person who would commit crimes for a little money. Judge, will you give her a chance to do it once? ? ? ”
At this time, the phone changed another voice, and it was suspected to be the judge who just called the person. She picked up the phone and said, "Mrs. Chen? You have to cooperate with the case and help clarify the case, otherwise it will harm many people." So, after the judge asked, Mrs. Chen told her family status, bank deposits, and house situation in detail. After confirming these information, the judge said, "We are afraid that you will escape overseas, but if you set up a law to pay the deposit, you will not have to go to jail." Mrs. Chen thanked this judge very much when she heard that the judge was willing to go online and said that she would ask the legal minister for his resignation!
So, she went to a nearby bank to withdraw cash and politely refused to protect the security personnel. The bank's deputy manager asked with concern, "Why did you suddenly raise so much cash?" Unexpectedly, Mrs. Chen used the words "buy and sell land" taught by the criminal to respond to the deputy manager's concern, and kept saying, "I have an urgent need, don't ask so much."
The bank could not make the decision, so it had to sort out the money for her. Mrs. Chen is very old and has a different attitude in the bank. She has to rely on crutches for movement, but she does not help. It turned out that the mobile phone in her pocket was connecting with the criminals. The criminal's culprit said that Mrs. Chen had to open the phone throughout the whole process for supervision, so as to ensure that she would not run away; but in fact, keeping on the phone could prevent Mrs. Chen from asking or asking for help from outsiders.
While Mrs. Chen was standing on horse road with two bags of cash alone and listening to the phone, a small passenger car approached. A man about 35 got off the car and took the money away, and told Mrs. Chen that it would be fine. Mrs. Chen relaxed her breath and her son returned home in the evening. After she told her what she had happened today, her son immediately took her to the police station to report the case. She never expected that this tight judicial case and detention process would be a scene where the group cheated her.
How does terror affect decisions?Knowledge psychologists and behavioral economic scholars are deeply interested in how we make decisions. In this case, the savage group clearly influenced the movement of women through inducing "terrorism". Looking back at this case, the characters who appeared after the conversation include "Police Tsai, Chief Huang of the Criminal Police Team, and Judges". The vocations they represent (police, judges) almost all give people the impression of authority. Under normal circumstances, these identities are also representatives of "public power".
The psychological state of "fear of authority" is actually very common. When facing authoritative, powerful or powerful characters, we naturally feel scared, fearful, uneasy, and may even be inextricably speaking and blank in our brains during actual interaction. For everyone, the people represented by authority are different, some are bosses, some are teachers, customers, or ex-commendations, etc. But for most general public, most people in the military, police, and the law world are given the status of "authority" because they are the people who replace the country's law enforcement.
Therefore, many quarrels are based on the role of public departments and military police and law, requiring victims to comply with some instructions (mostly for transfers), otherwise they will be sentenced or severely detained as a way to induce victims to fear.
In fact, this fear of authority is universally present to everyone. Ms. Liu Cuirong, former vice president of the Central Academy of Sciences, holds a high school degree with a Ph.D. in the History and Language Group of Harvard University, and is the authority to study China's economic history. In March 2015, Ms. Liu received a call from her own "Taipei District Inspection Office", and the other party told her that she was involved in a case of embezzlement of public funds, and more than 10 people are planning to sue her.
After receiving the phone, Ms. Liu was very scared and hurriedly called for justice. The prosecutor at the phone used a method similar to the above cases and asked Ms. Liu to hand over the security deposit without any need to detain it. So, Ms. Liu delivered 600,000 or 700,000 yuan in succession and received the "fake official documents" provided by the other party.. Recently, news presenter Dong Zhicheng received a message from his friend Hu Guajie. After chatting with him online for 3 days, he opened a loan of 850,000 from him. Because the other party spoke similar to Hu Gua, Dong Zhicheng didn't think much about it and did not say that he was ready to exchange money from the bank.
But when Dong Zhicheng was preparing to transfer the account, his wife and bank operators thought it was strange and reminded him to be careful. After checking this time, I found out that I was really a terrible person. Why didn’t Dong Zhicheng have any doubts during the three days, or did he not think it was strange that Hu Gua needed to borrow 850,000 yuan? Just look at the detailed techniques of the Trick Group.
First of all, the other party uses "Hu Zixiong", which is Hu Gua's real name and Dong Zhicheng's WeChat. Not everyone knows Hu Gua's real name, but people who are familiar with Gua Ge must know.
Secondly, Hu Zixiong said on WeChat that he is recording films now, and this money is borrowed by his friend, but because he is recording films, he cannot get out and cannot leave, so please help. At that time, Dong Zhicheng also called Hu Gua Assistant, who said, "Good Gua is recording films now, it's OK." Therefore, "Good Gua is recording films" became "correct information", making Dong Zhicheng even more "doubtedly have him" and "verified" that the other party is really Gua. Fortunately, Dong Zhicheng heard his wife later. He went to the studio to find Hu Gua to confirm it before he found out the truth and saved such a big money.
The above-mentioned verification bias methods using familiar relationships are also often used in the "small payment" proof. The verdict usually pretends to be a friend you are familiar with to create trust. After that, they will use emails, chat windows of the communication software, and text messages to help them obtain the key information needed for small payments such as online accounts and passwords. Look at the following conversations, they are all fish that are hidden in mysterious machines! But because the messenger's account is really your friend, it's easy to click on it. Remember, in this era, everyone's account may be used.
• "Ha Xiao, my son is participating in the school painting competition. Can you help me vote for him? (The URL you asked you to click later)"• "Is it Mr. Chen? I haven't seen it for a long time. When I look at my current photos, can you remember who am I? ^^ Watch it here on Android phone (the URL you want you to click later)"— after pressing, the webpage automatically downloads a mobile APP with the subfile name apk, and then some characters' photos will appear on the screen. Within less than an hour, I received a small payment notice from the telecom company and informed me that the consumer price was RMB 6,000. • "I'm waiting for a meeting. Can you please help me collect shopping information? My phone cannot be used later." — After informing the team of their own mobile phone, their mobile phone received multiple "online shopping mobile verification codes". Although the recipients were reminded in the message to not disclose the confirmation code to others or online friends, the victim still informed the other party of the verification code, and was therefore cheated.
These scammers consider that human nature mostly trusts others. After the foundation relationship is established, they can easily obtain the victim's income, and allow the victim to agree to certain payment behaviors without knowing it. Only when they receive the next telecom bill will they learn that they have suffered the scammer.
These small payments are all based on the characteristics we easily trust others. Especially others who have "already established relationships on the Internet", such as friends on the face, contacts who have been in the communication list (but they don't know, and don't know where the other party is fighting).
In addition, there are also many leaders who are not familiar with technology products and use. Therefore, many times, they think that "link" will not happen if they just click it. This has become an important reason for the occurrence of many cheating cases.
